ABOUT SERVIETTE
Why we built this
A short story about walking out of a lot of restaurants disappointed, and never once saying why.
THE SHORT VERSION
It's not a people problem. It's a feedback gap.
The idea didn't start as a feedback platform. It started as a habit of leaving restaurants disappointed and never coming back — without ever telling anyone why. Good food, good room, but a wait at the bar that ran too long, or a question brushed off mid-sentence. There was never a natural moment to say something, so nothing got said.
Then came a trip overseas, where service felt instinctive — guests were read, not just served, and small things got corrected before they became complaints. That's when it clicked:
"It's not a people problem. It's a feedback gap."
By the time a bad night turns into a Google review, the moment to fix it has already passed. Serviette closes that gap — a guest scans a code at the table, and their mood becomes a live signal a manager can act on in minutes, not a review discovered three days later.
WHO'S USING IT
Early days, real venues.
Serviette is young — here's who's already on the floor with us.
"Placeholder — swap in a two- or three-sentence quote from a manager about a specific problem Serviette caught early. Specific beats polished."
"Placeholder — a second quote from a different type of venue (busy brunch spot vs. fine dining) shows range and helps new visitors see themselves in it."
